Anna Organiszczak

   Anna Organiszczak graduated with honors from  the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań  in 1982 from  the piano class of prof. Jan Jański. She perfected  her skills at masterclasses under the supervision of prof. R. Kehrer and prof. E. Malinina. She is the laureate of the Second Award at the Polish Chamber Music Competition for Pianists-Chamber Musicians in Łódź in 1980, the Award of the Minister of Culture and Art in 1982 and  the Scholarship for Young Artists of the Minister of Culture and Art in 1984.

   Since 1982, she has been associated with the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań  where in 1992 she obtained a doctoral degree, and in 1999 -  habilitation. In 2011, from the hands of the President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski, she received the academic title of professor of musical arts.

   She performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Poland and abroad (Belgium, the Czech Republic, Montenegro, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Singapore, Syria, Lebanon, USA), among others in the most famous concert halls of New York: Steinway Hall and Carnegie Hall. In the jubilee Chopin year in 2010, she gave concerts during three international festivals "Chopin 2010", which took place in Damascus, Beirut and New York. Her artistic output includes radio and TV recordings and two CDs with works by Polish composers: Henryk Opieński, Stefan Bolesław Poradowski and Grażyna Bacewicz.

   She runs a piano class at the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań  and  over 20 students graduated  from her class. Her students and graduates have won about 40 awards at international music competitions in Poland, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Lithuania and USA as well as a numerous  scholarships and honors. She conducts piano master courses in Poland and abroad (Rome, Verona, Cagliari, Singapore, Damascus, Beirut, Ostrava, Beijing).

   She has been  many times a member  of  the jury of national and  international piano competitions, including: Halina Czerny-Sefańska Piano Tournament in Żagań, International Piano Competition “Halina Czerny-Stefańska in memoriam” in Poznań,  International Chopin Competition in Podgorica (Montenegro). She participated in  many doctoral and postdoctoral conducts - as a supervisor and reviewer, including at Stony    Brook University in New York.

   From 2013 she is employed at the Academy of Music in Poznań as a full professor. In the years 2002-2016 she was the Head of the Inter-Faculty Pedagogical Study, and from October  2016 she is the Head of the Chair of Piano, Organ and Accordion.

   In 2005 she received Silver Cross of Achievements, in 2010 Medal for Culture Activists, in 2011 Medal of National Education.
